Great carburettor synchronising device.
I recently decided to put my old 1990 Yamaha FJ 1200 back on the road after it had been sitting unused in the garage for 10 years.
Unfortunately the old petrol had gummed up the carburettors so I had to get them cleaned ultrasonically and new parts fitted.Also cleaned and sealed interior of fuel tank + new petcock and filter + new clutch master cylinder repair kit + new clutch slave cylinder.
I got the engine running and then decided after reading Haynes repair manual and advice from others that I should get the carburettors synchronised.I dont think they have ever been synchronised since I bought the bike in 1993.
After checking websites on the internet I decided to buy the Morgan Carbtune Pro 4-column carburettor / F.I. Balancer.
The device is very easy to set up when you follow the instructions provided.
The procedure for balancing/ synchronising the 4 carbs on the FJ was very straight forward and took about 15- 20 mins once the device was connected up to the 4 carbs.

In conclusion I was very satisfied with the Morgan Carbtuner and it performed very well in synchronising the carburettors.

Don't bother with those red-box gauges. Complete rubbish.
This does the job beautifully.

spot on and easy to use
been useing old dilase for some time. herd good things about carbtune so gave it a go. thay are easy to read and no fafing about to alibrait them. am very happy with them and wish I got them sooner. highly recamend
